Birmingham? You bet.

The rest is history…

Watamanu?

After finding this album in Fluid’s archive, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s *possibly* one of the most underrated albums, I’ve ever listened to.

Sadly, the Jazzy Acid House band have an almost non-existent online footprint, with only the likes of MTV, Discogs.com and iTunes providing any indication that the band were ever a thing. Alas, this relic of times past is proof that Mother are indeed alive and well through the power of physical formatting!

The album features some funky numbers; my pick of the bunch being “Rattle Snake”, “Get Back (Mothers Cookin Mix), and “Blow Out”. Each pertains to a distinct rhythmic style and theme, combining to form an all-round sound experience that will leave you both relaxed and terrified.

Exalt your new favourite album…
