Block Busting Minecraft Dungeons Influencer Kit

To promote the recent launch of the Minecraft Dungeons videogame, we created a 100 Edition Influencer Kit for Assembly, Microsoft and developer Mojang - for distribution to global recipients, with an audience of nearly 53 million!
We designed and produced a rigid box recreation of the in-game Mission Loot Chest, which was distributed to key media/influencers around the world. Sized at an immense 494 x D 374 x H 372 mm, the chest was lined and wrapped with Colorplan Pebble to reflect a stone aesthetic, with the lid featuring 3 striking foils, suggestive of the in-game chest’s illumination.
The chest contained an inner tray and 4 inner boxes, which utilised a range of tactile papers to represent different Minecraft Elements - Redstone, Sand, Obsidian, Anthracite and Lava. Within these boxes was a numbered/personalised panel, and a range of bespoke goods and supplied Minecraft Dungeons merchandise: plush toy, guidebook, Mattel figure, LEGO set and tshirt - each held in a custom coloured and printed foam fitment. Also included were a set of diecut key golem cards, with codes allowing recipients to play the game on Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch or PlayStation 4.

With just 100 kits we generated 6.9 million impressions

A further key aspect of the creation, was it being crafted using sustainably sourced materials, most of which were recyclable, to reduce impact on the environment - with territory related information about recycling included in each kit. The 100 kits resulted in 132 total posts by recipients, with the creation of 6.9 million impressions - including YoutTube views - and 310,000 engagements. The client was thrilled with the “awesome numbers involved.”
