ONLINE MEDIA ALL ROUND FOR CODEMASTERS
Fluid have belted up and jumped into their Nomex suits for the second half of 2018! We took a few quick laps round the race track and dived into Codemasters media plans for ONRUSH and F1 2018!
LIVING THE LIFE OF AN F1 DRIVER THROUGH ONLINE MEDIA
Being plunged into the cockpit, Fluid were tasked with driving the launch media for F1 2018. Codemasters had an array of bookings including MPUs, double MPUs, fireplace skins, and leaderboards for all the well known motorsport news sites such as Autosport.
In typical fashion, timings were tight but these deadlines didn’t drive us off the track! Fluid created and managed the suite of assets ranging from static JPGs to fully animated HTML5 banners. We also delivered directly to the publishers and deployed to Flashtalking where necessary.
We also had just over a week to help script, record, and design a 30 second advert for F1 2018. This was to be aired right in the middle of a half an hour radio show for Autosport.
ONLINE CAMPAIGN FOR THE NOS-CHARRED, STAMPEDING RACER
Looking a few months back, Codemasters had also booked an array of media banners, skins, and takeovers. This was to support the launch of the high-impact, adrenaline fuelled off-road arcade racing game, ONRUSH!
Incorporating the face-paced game trailers where possible put emphasis on the game. It's all about speed, takedowns and teamwork with high-tempo thrills that focus on fun, excitement and the spectacular.
The media was launched across publishers including IGN, EuroGamer, Fandom, and Pushsquare. These all had 'pre-order’ and ‘out now’ assets to increase click through and conversion rates.
