A Bespoke Memento for Red Carpet Media Event

In Hideo Kojima's unprecedented vision for a world corrupted by supernatural manifestations of death and time, our protagonist Sam Bridges attempts to re-establish order and society by traversing a twisted and broken American vista.

Thematically, Death Stranding is more akin to an epic sci-fi anthology than a single video game experience. With enough maturity and nuance to fill a crater and an entirely original gameplay loop, the game is as close to a new genre as we have seen since Dark Souls.

We were commissioned by SIE UK to produce a keepsake artefact for attendees of the BAFTA event, Death Stranding: Bridging the Worlds of Film and Games - featuring a discussion between Hideo Kojima and film maverick Nicolas Winding Refn.

Utilising key insignia, we crafted a personalised/numbered presentation box, which contained an artbook - with introduction by Hideo Kojima - and a range of exclusive merchandise, which played on the game’s narrative of journeys and connection. Themes of technology and humanism permeate through the game and the evocative character based imagery and our selection of materials reflected the materials and environments of the game.

Quantities were also used for select recipients at The Death Stranding Experience, London - with Hideo Kojima featuring the kit on his social media to great response.
