A TABLET FIRST APPROACH FOR SONIC’S LATEST SMASH
We wanted to create a tablet first experience that would introduce some of the fresh and fascinating characters, nooks and crannies of Sonic's Lost World. It was necessary to offer an intuitive tool that young fans could you use instinctively on a tablet, a device rarely considered the primary platform.
Depth of content and imagery were at the heart of Sega’s brief for Sonic’s latest microsite. Using full screen imagery and vibrant creative we reflected the vivid experience of the Lost World with a tablet-happy demographic in mind.

Optimising the experience
Full screen video streamed directly from Sega’s YouTube account created a glowing hub of gorgeous content. Behind the scenes, well-planned content optimisation and clever caching made for a seamless experience on any device. Intuitive swipe and gesture controls were the cherry on top.
